  I purchased a reconditioned cylinder head for my 99 Jeep WJ project, paying the core charge up front because I hadn't lined up the rest of the parts involving a top end rebuild. (this was my first time attempting such a project, I remember asking advice from both gentleman). On attempt to return this 75lb. core, I printed my bank statement clearly indicating transaction/check number, date of purchase, amount, and "Dover Cylinder Head" as recipient of payment. I also had the card w/ matching acct. number I used when I purchased it, as well as all necessary identification. I was promptly turned away because I didn't have the "original" receipt, without either gentleman considering the paperwork in front of them. "It's been past 90 days," one said. There had been no discussion of a deadline to return the core when I purchased, knowing, again, that this would be my first attempt,I would have been alarmed, and would have remembered such a statement. I can't speak on how they stand behind their work once put into use, but now I can easily assume, they DON'T. I expected better treatment as a local with potential repeat business, and as a patron of well over $300. I will drive further, and pay more if necessary when next time comes around.
