  Well, I called yesterday to make an appointment for my 17 year old son for a shoulder injury he received during a football game. We were referred to this doctor by one of his high school coaches. We highly respect this particular coach's opinion so did not falter with our decision to make the appointment with this group of doctors. The instructions on the phone (which I was put on hold for 7 minutes before anyone ever picked up to help me) were to go to the hospital, pick up the x-ray after radiology loads the x-ray onto a CD and bring it to the appointment. She asks to pick up paperwork from office prior to the appointment. I completed everything she requested. I went to office and waited at front reception window for 6 minutes. I watched the woman next to her pick up the phone and put the phone back down after the call was over and never greeted me after. I finally walked away after no one ever asked me what I needed. (nor did anyone try to catch me as I walked away). I walked to the window across the other side and what do you know, the same thing happened. (only this time, there were a total of three woman looking at me and no one opened a window!) I walked away and left the building. I realize that broken bones happen all the time and your business will boom no matter what but at the end of the day, every new patient at any practice should be treated with dignity and respect and I received none of that and these women never met me. When I finally was greeted, the lady gave me instructions for the paperwork like I was a kindergartener. Even going on to say you cannot go outside the lines or it will not scan into our system correctly. I am not kidding! I know a great scheduling institute that I can refer to them. the doctor that I work for would fire me on the spot if I ever treated a new patient this way, or any patient for that matter.

  My experience with Dr. Iyengar has been very good. I had injured my ankle in Vietnam in 1971 and then again about 10 years ago and it finally just gave out. My initial visit was excellent and after two consultations the prognosis was surgery to repair the ankle. Dr. Iyengar was extremely courteous and helpful in taking time to explain the circumstances and what the corrective options were. Surgery was completed and I am on my way to full recovery. The experience with staff both in the front office and back office has been very good. Highly recommend Dr. Iyengar!
